1. Katsir Youth Conference

We thank God for the Katsir national youth conference this week (overseen by our dear friend Eitan Shishkoff). Over 100 Israeli teens participated. Much of our staff was involved as counselors. There is spiritual growth in the teens with each conference.

2. Passover Seder

This Passover we celebrated the Seder as usual with our religious Jewish relatives in Jerusalem. Many other Messianics celebrated with their families as well. Pray for the light of Messiah to shine to all of the people of Israel during the biblical feasts.

3. Mimunah Outreach

This Wednesday we are cooperating with our friend Rachel N in an outreach for "Mimunah" (the Moroccan Jewish celebration at the end of Passover week). Pray for many new Israelis to hear of the good news of Yeshua.

4. Resurrection Celebration

This Saturday (April 18) is the joint celebration of the resurrection of Yeshua at the Garden Tomb, including both Palestinian Christians and Israeli Messianic Jews. The celebration is organized by our dear brother Jack Sara, pastor in East Jerusalem. Pray for Yeshua to be glorified as we unite together to give thanks for the resurrection.

5. Egypt – Hizballah Tensions

There have been growing tensions this week between President Mubarak of Egypt and Hizballah leader Hasan Nasrallah. While Mubarak is a committed Muslim, he is not a Jihadist. He doesn't want those murderous groups to ruin his own country. Pray for Mubarak and other moderate Arab leaders to resist terrorist groups throughout the Middle East.

6. Somalian Rescue

President Obama ordered the US Navy to attack Somalian pirates who hijacked US commercial ship "Alabama" and took Captain Phillips hostage. Three of the pirates were killed and the leader of the group captured.  Phillips was rescued after daringly jumping into the water to escape. It is a great advantage for Obama to be Black. Because of resentment across the Third World against White people, any diplomatic confrontation or military intervention would be much more difficult by an American President who is White. Pray for Obama to be strong in resisting international criminal and terrorist activities.

7. Call2All Hong Kong

This week we had the opportunity to share with Roy Chen, director of Call2All Hong Kong. Let us join in faith with the Call2All mission to share the gospel with every people group in the world in our generation (See following).
