Adopt-a-Soldier!  Our ministry partners at Tents of Mercy are starting a new program called “Adopt-a-Soldier.” Their goal is to enlist folks to pray for and build up the believing soldiers from all over Israel. Intercessory Prayer Team

1. Elite Commando Unit
This intercessory warfare team is an elite commando unit whose purpose is to pray for the Messianic soldiers in Israel in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and for the strategic advancement of the Kingdom of God.

2. Specifically Called
This ministry is for everyone who knows they are specifically called by God to intercede for the protection of the believing soldiers in Israel according to Psalm 91.

3. Faith and Positive Confession
These prayer warriors will approach each situation from the perspective of faith and positive confession. They must know their authority as a believer in Yeshua (Jesus) and their position in Him over the spiritual forces of evil.

4. Loose Lips
Team members make a commitment to keep quiet about any personal information they may receive regarding the soldiers. Prayer requests are shared with the team members in confidentiality and integrity.

5. Strategic Operations
The strategic prayer goals are to marshal angelic forces to protect the Messianic soldiers, release the power of the Holy Spirit, believe for unity and strength for the believers, spur on revival, bind the work of the devil, uncover all terrorist attacks, block the influence of witchcraft spirits, unmask religious spirits of fanaticism, open doors for evangelism and break down hindrances to spiritual growth and prosperity.

6. Bodyguard
The intercessory prayer team will operate as a spiritual "Secret Service' with a particular emphasis on maintaining a wall of protection around the Messianic soldiers during their military careers.

7. Military Style Training
Team members are to be actively engaged in training themselves to improve their effectiveness as prayer warriors, to practice self-discipline, and to study anointed teachings on prayer and faith. They will learn to receive instructions and mobilization orders quickly and zealously in order to advance the Kingdom of God on earth.
