An Invitation to Partner with Revive Israel
To Purchase Facilities

Dear Revive Israel Friends:

We so appreciate your prayers, friendship and financial support!  

We want to share with you an exciting opportunity we have in the next few months and into 2008 to purchase office and classroom space for the Revive Israel Equipping Center and worship center space for Congregation Ahavat Yeshua.  Together these two facilities will cost over $1,000,000 but we are trusting God to speak to those whose hearts are motivated to help us meet this goal at this time.

For the past three years we have rented a facility for the Equipping Center in a prime, protected location just outside of Jerusalem. Dozens of young Israelis have experienced discipling and equipping there and many members of our community live in neighborhoods within walking distance of the property.  The landlord needs to sell the building soon and we believe we are to buy it.  He is willing to sell it for $650,000, including taxes and fees.

We have received several confirmations that we should move forward with this purchase at this time. First of all, a few ministry partners have already committed and given us a portion of the funds so we are already 5% toward our goal!  In addition, a friend just recently made a down payment on the building next door and dedicated it to us for housing Revive Israel disciples and interns!

While the funds needed are still significant we are trusting God to establish us permanently in this location by February 2008.  We are praying for partners who will help us meet this goal and finalize this purchase by sending in a special, one-time gift or pledge in the next four months.  

With regular attendance near 100 (adults and children), Congregation Ahavat Yeshua (Love of Yeshua) has attracted young adults, university students, single moms, professionals, internationals fluent in Hebrew, and other ministry and marketplace leaders. We are now blessed with a full ministry staff, many volunteers, a growing children’s ministry and three worship teams. The congregation gathers every Sabbath to worship in Jerusalem together.

Several weeks ago, we moved into a rented hall that can seat 140. As we looked out at the crowd that filled the new hall, we faced the reality that another move will be necessary in the near future.
It is our desire to jointly develop a new space with another congregation in the same building at a cost of about $550,000. This would enable us to maintain our location, expand our space and work in partnership with other believers. We are currently working out some of the details. Our other option is to look to buy a different facility in Jerusalem, probably at a slightly higher cost. In either case, a permanent larger facility is an important advance for the on-going ministry of Ahavat Yeshua.

In conclusion, we are convinced that God is doing something very special in this community which will bear more and more fruit in the days to come. We invite you to partner with us as we take a tangible leap forward in possessing the land for His kingdom in Israel!
